First Stop Lambs.

A visit to Shepherdess Harriett Heathcote of Lambtastic Meats for a exclusive lambing experience.  Its March so the height of lambing season, Harriett will show us what is involved in lambing season and teach us all about how she raises her grass fed flocks, she will give us a insight into the industry and answer all of your questions so get thinking what you would like to find out. If we are lucky we may witness a lamb or two being born guaranteed plenty of new born lambs to see.

Second Stop - Mushrooms.

A exclusive first access visit to the newly built Owley Speciality Mushroom Farm near Rye which I will tell you is absolutely out of this world. This is a large high end speciality mushroom grow house run by young entrepreneur Harvey.  Growing everything from Oyster to Lions Mane, Shiitake to Hen of The Woods, Harvey is a true master of the mushroom growing world and I can guarantee you will be amazed by the grow room and all Harvey’s knowledge. This is a real special treat exclusively for The Kent Farm Food and Drink Tour Co.

Third stop - Lunch and Tasting

Our final stop will be to renowned Macknade farm shop of Faversham. Here we will enjoy a truley local lunch feast, featuring cheese, fruits, breads and everything great Kent has to offer in a beautiful setting. After lunch we will enjoy some drinks tastings of local brews followed by a guided tour and tastings of Macknade itself learning about producers, growers and farmers.
